Shooter Symposium

SureFire is proud to once again be a Platinum Sponsor for the Shooter Symposium, one of the premier firearms training events on the planet. This event takes place October 14-17, 2021, at The Ranch in Eagle Lake, Texas.

This one-of-a-kind experience brings like-minded individuals together with top-tier instructors from all over with the collective goal of learning, during four days of intense training. The subject matter runs the gamut from handgun and carbine training in daylight and low-light/no-light environments to hand-to-hand and force-on-force combatives as well as medical training.

What To Expect
The first day consists of the standard check-in and safety briefing but also an awesome vendor show consisting of some of the top companies in the industry giving attendees a chance to meet each other as well as the instructors. The first also features a live-fire range day with several optional competitions in which students are eligible to win tens of thousands of dollars worth of prizes. Students are encouraged to participate in the competitions as many times as they want, and the top shooters will receive prizes ranging from rifles and pistols to various related high-quality merchandise. The prize table will include SureFire suppressors, WeaponLights and many more tactical products from supporting brands. Day 1 concludes with a meet-and-greet with the instructors, followed by a catered dinner and an open bar. The Ranch makes it clear that once students consume alcohol on the premises, handling firearms is prohibited.

The range staff will be on hand to provide any assistance. After class, feel free to stick around and socialize, but professional conduct at all times is mandatory. Failure to act responsibly will result in dismissal from the event.
