Among its many innovative features, the XSC is also the first SureFire WeaponLight to feature a dedicated battery that you can remove for recharging, an essential feature for those who train with their gear. Its B12 lithium polymer battery detaches quickly without requiring you to remove the WeaponLight body from the host handgun. Every XSC comes with a SureFire CH21 cradle charger capable of charging two B12 batteries simultaneously, so you can always keep one ready to go. Monitoring the charge level is as simple as checking the B12’s onboard LED fuel gauge with the press of a button.
The XSC’s premium LED is a true overachiever in close quarters, delivering 350 lumens of intense white light. SureFire’s Parabolic Reflector technology shapes the beam to provide a concentrated hot spot with significant throw and ample spill light to help keep you aware of your surroundings. FBI statistics indicate that the average gunfight occurs at a distance of 3 yards; the XSC is ideal for illuminating targets up between zero and 25 yards away or disrupting a potential assailant’s night-adapted vision, giving you a significant advantage when things go bump in the night.
